So the front mtech spoiler has been "hanging" low since i got the car, I bought the clips here (part no 3) as I could see at least two were broken.

So after ages of the bag of clips sitting on my desk I decided to do something about it, but of course you cant just drop the spoiler and plug the clips in, you have to take the bumper off with a 10mm torx which I had to go out and buy, and then after much strain with rusted bolts later you get all the clips back on and discover its better, but it still hangs down by about a inch. I find it hard to believe this is how its meant to be aligned.

So please any ideas on how to fix the sag before I really do drill holes and put pop rivets in the top or something. Its driving me mad because i got all the bumpers and sideskirts to sit straight.

Perghaps the lower front valance( meatl part) has become bent underneath at some point, the result would be a sggy outer cover for defo.

if you remove the bumper again, you may be able to tweak the area on the 10mm self tappers that hold the valance in place ?

you also need to put the lower black clips on as these make it more soild and dont just sag on the white clips

read my article in the article section on fitting tech 2 bumpers, it shows all the clips you need and how to adjust the bumper. In my opinion your bumper is not adjusted or as ant says the valance is bent.
