Hi guys, i have a beautiful 83 323i which is sweet as a nut, however, with the 3 speed auto i am limited as far as trackday fun goes. i have bought a 323i sport manual gearbox inc prop and diff pedal box etc.

Is it a fairly straight forward job. sure many of you have done the samething before so drawing on your knowlegde base please.

if you do a search you will find loads of comprehensive guides on it ...it is a very easy convertion there are also threads on here on how to wire your inhibitor switch which will need to be done you will also need the bearing that sits in the end of the crank ...i take it you also have the master cylinder/slave cylinder/reservoir as well as a clutch and flywheel ....good luck and if you are ok with the spanners it should all be done in a day
