What ratio is the rear differential on a 1988 320i Convertible?

I'm trying to buy one but there are a few varieties of ratios and sizes.

thanks

Not sure on standard but 4.1 or 4.27 will be ok, maybe even 3.91.

There are 2 diffs large and small case, either size diff will be fine as you have to adjust the propshaft which I've heard is a piece of piss.

You going LSD or just open diff?

It's 4.10 or 4.45.

You can get them from spares places on the net for about £110 delivered ;)

I know 'cos we were looking to change the screeming knackered 4.10 diff of the 318iS to a 4.45 to improve acceleration.
