I removed my 316i badge recently - don't know why! Anyway I used a new stanley knife blade to cut the foam sticky pad between badge and paint. You have to be very careful not to angle the blade into the paint, eventually the badge will give way with a bit of gentle twisting. I then used autoglym tar remover on a lint free cloth to remove excess adhesive/foam from the paintwork. Finally I used autoglym paint renovator and meguiars polish to bring the paint up to a finish matching the rest of the boot lid. Hope this helps.

Leave it on mate! Once you've got the 325i engine in there, the 320i badge will provide a bit of stealth 8)

I agree with darkchild. My laches 4 door 2.7 wears its 320i badge with pride.Upsets a lot of chavs as well...did think about fitting the 316i badge that came of the touring, but I felt that the twin exhaust pipes would give the game away...

just pull a bit of string along it underneath the badge then a bit of tar and glue remover to get rid of the rest of the shit left on it
