have you tried changing the injectors back to standard? m52 injectors are designed for 24 valve engines, and have a different spray pattern to standard

yes i got a clifford concept 650 as for the injector no i have not put the other injectors in but i can see where you are coming from with the different injectors but that would not stop the pump from working would it

Try going back to the standard injectors - worth a try - think it will help!

Dont bother going back to original 325 injectors, i had the same problem and i changed my injectors so i change them back to the M3 injectors e36 and the problem was there so i thought F--K this, i compression checked, electrical check, changed AFM and finally put in spark plugs NGK specific ones and then the problems was gone, now i am as happy as a happy as a rubber duck in a bath full of water with a gay in it!!! (not gay BTW-Married)
:D :D

If you feel you need to try changing the injectors for your own personal re-assurance then do it... otherwise like i says i done that and changed back to M50 injectors cos there newer and spray pattern is different..

i have had a very similar fault about 12 years ago with a 528i i had.
it turned out to be a bad connection in the fuel system wiring.
one minute the fuel was getting through the next minute it was'nt.
i replaced the fuel pump relay.
fault was still there.

i solved the problem by putting a live feed with a length of wire and a crocodile clip to one side of the fuel pump fuse.

i had to connect it every time i used the car.and then disconnect it again when i was'nt other wise the pump would keep going.

i sold the not long after that.
