as in the title-i know its probably on here somewhwre but cant find it!-its on two motors we have-my old mans 318i-and my 320i,be gratefull for any info-cheers

Sounds obvious i bought a draper reset tool, £12 used it loads. 30 second job. winkeye

Short pin 7 of the diagnostic socket to earth until the lights go out/come on, its that simple.

Take the cars to a garage, have the relevant inspection carried out by them and they will reset lights for nothing. Hey presto!!
