This may be simple I know...but its doing my head in.

Have MOT test tomorrow, so was out today making sure all my light etc were working.

All working, but no reverse lights. changed the bulbs, still nothing. checked fuse, it was ok.

What else can it be?? Seems strange that all the other lghts on the the tail panels are all working.

Switch on the right side of the gearbox. My wife gets through at least one a year. God knows how!
Pull up the gearlever gaiter and pull out a two pin plug and socket from down near the right hand side of the base of the gearlever. Pull the plug and socket apart and short together the two pins of the part that DOESN'T go down through the gearlever grommet.
Switch on the ignition and the reverse lights should be on.
Won't be MOT tested, so don't panic.

another thing to check for is wire being worn, cut or split under your car, as my cars wire had been cut because of the prop shaft catching it somehow. just connected the two wires back and heypresto.
