How could I possibly note it is a real e30 325i sport?
with all those close ratio gearbox, lsd and uprated suspension setup?
can it be checked from the VIN number?
I have look through realoem.com and
bmw-z1.com and give me some info that I dont really understand. And they dont really stated the word "sport"..
thanks.
How could I know if it is a real sport??

vins number is the best way as these cars have all been chopped and changed over the years. Just go to your local bm dealer mate. Other things to look for black headlining, map lights in rear view mirror, opening rear quarter windows and all electric's. No windyness on sports!
sports up to 89 only came in black, lachs silver and dolphin grey also

As Simon said, phone a dealer with the last 7 digits of the chassis number and they will tell you what it left the factory as, and what it left with.konglong wrote:P E30 2-T 325i M20 ECE 19881200 R M

It's easy to make a sport replica, even down to the black headlining (member on here has sprayed his) so the only way of telling 100% is through the dealer.konglong wrote:erm.. it seem like only the factory can tell the difference then...thanks
