Thanks to the two people who posted replies to my M42 AFM wiring diagram, now do any of you have a wiring diagram for an AFM (model not specific) it is just for me to understand what is happening as i am going to fit an MAF to my 318is. Will be very grateful if someone could help. (I have a piggy back ecu fitted to my car so i think it should not be to difficult)

Click on BMW, then the 3rd line down that appears under BMW, then on the line that contains "mitchel on demand", and finally click on the drop down boxes as they appear.

Velly intelestink, comrade Brianski :D It appears the diagram for Motronic AFM wiring in my Haynes manual is total cack!

Never! Such a thing is unimaginable!
The Russian site diagrams are for US spec cars, so there are a few differences here and there, but, AFAIK, the engine look diagrams are spot on.
