Apologies if this has been asked before but I'm in a bit of a rush with this job.

Central locking on my car is working fine on the button (aftermarket jobbie!) except that the drivers door won't unlock. the interior button wont pop up even with a bit of force and the handle is the same. The key wont turn in the lock either.

I don't want to break the handle or the button but all this hopping in through the passanger door is wrecking my head

Any help is greatly appreciated gents!

When you say "aftermarket", are you referring to the remote control, or the central locking itself?
If it's OE central locking, take the door card off and unscrew the two small self tappers (1/3rd of the way up near the rear of the door) that hold the locking motor in place, and see if you can unlock the door with the key then.
Have you tried turning the key while trying to lift the exterior handle?

Sorry, it's just the remote that's aftermarket. I've tried your last suggestion so I'll head out now and start pulling the door card off.

Cheers for the help Brian.
