1988 325i e30 : what markings should there be on diff axle caseing to
show that theres a lsd.
Car is NOT a Sport.

It wont be a slipper if its the original mate, unless it was requested from new, cant see it. It'll have an S before the ratio numbers on the tag if it is indeed an lsd. Some still have a white S stamped on the bottom of the casing in paint or something, mine has at least.

Jack the back end up and spin one wheel if the one on the other side spins the same direction then its a slipper.
Worth checking regardless of spec of the car as i recently had a 325 auto tourer which to my surprise had an lsd :)

Wasn't standard on a 325, but was a fairly cheap option. Surprising that more 325s don't have them.
