I'm new here, live in Australia and have a 1990 e30 318i which I bought 2nd hand. Has about 164,000kms on the clock and recently have had the head/valves done (due to a snapped timing belt).
Have been told to use catrol magnatec semi-synthetic 10W-40, which I already have bought and will do and next oil change (every 5000km). Currently have valvoline synthetic 5W-40 in the car as wasn't any magnatec available at the time. I can also get my hands on some repsol elite competition synthetic 5w-40. What do you fellow e30er's here recommend?
