Hi guys
As the dash is out I thought I had better have a look at the heater valve.

Taken it apart and the solenoid works ok but the large diaphragm ha disintegrated.

Can this be purchased from somewhere and if so how do you get to it.

Or is it a new valve ? 😤

Thanks as always

David

It can be replaced with two O-rings.

1x O-ring 30x2,5mm
1x O-ring 15x2mm
4x screw M3x30 od. M3x28
4x (stop) nut M3

Cheers Ben yes I did see a kit for sale in Germany with the 2 seals and the m3 screws. I don’t know if my valve is different from others, but without the diaphragm water leaks up into the solenoid though the central operating shaft as there is play where it goes though the large washer. I wondered if later valves had a different arrangement to stop water getting into the solenoid electrics and leaking out of the terminal housing.
