Been trying to find the source of water Ingres in the convertible. The drains in the hood are free flowing.
But it look like water is getting in to the boot from there and making under rear seats wet. Soaking wet.
There are various bolts and a few plastic buttons for lack of better word where I think water is getting in. Maybe also getting over the top mount holes.
Is this a known thing?
Also I read there are “stickers” under the hinge that break then let water in. But I can’t see these or find pictures of them.
I’m trying everything I can before remove the hinges and risk messing up the alignment
Any help greatly appreciated it’s driving me mad

There were loads of posts about this on the forum but they all seem to have disappeared.

I had one bookmarked but it gives 404 page not found now.

This one had some good pictures but they've gone too :( viewtopic.php?f=2&t=145388&p=1592009&hi ... r#p1592009

Sorry, not much help.

But if water is pooling under the rear seat it usually means that the drains at the front of the roof compartment are blocked.

Hi, yeh the drain holes are flowing freely.
You can see in the picture the clear ‘button’
I don’t get what that for? But pretty sure it lets water through and into my boot.
I’ve copied this from another forum but can’t find anything else on this.

“Two specifically are hidden under the convertible roof hinge where it mounts to the body. After some time these break and water then finds its way down. To fix this problem I removed the frame completely from the car removed the stickers; cleaned up the area with a solvent like brake clean and then applied a small plastic disk or equivelant and to make sure it wouldn't be ”

The drain holes are under the roof hinges, not the compartment hinges. Right in the front corners of the compartment.
