RUBBER FUEL HOSE

Hi guys need some advice .. my rubber fuel hose in the engine bay is leaking .. I’m going to replace both of them .. original bmw hose can only find in 10cm length these hoses need to be longer to go from engine bay to under chassis .. I have found same dimension hose 8mm internal and 13mm diamater total at gsf would this be ok to use ?

It would, Bmw would not have made the original hose in any event.

BMW supply this by the meter. Thus ordering two will get you one long 2 meter hose. Part number 16 12 1 180 409

or just go to a local motor factors & buy it from there, there's no difference in it at all.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

There is a difference Steve, the quality of this stuff varies more now than it ever has, thanks to china....

"Standard fuel hose" says to me that it is not suitable for fuel injection systems

Dont skimp on parts that could result in injury/death/total loss

i know what you mean, though the pace i use i've never had a problem, he's always been cheaper than the dealers.
mind you i do have full braided steel fuel lines on mine so.......
