Hi. My name is Neill and I have an E30 320i convertible which is 31 years old. I’m nearing the end of a refurb with new wheel arches, refurbed alloys and a Re spray.
The one tricky problem is the rubber weather shield upright strip on the drivers side window. (Offside in the UK)
Someone tried to get in by sliding in screwdriver/wire coat hanger whatever tearing the rubber, so it leaks in heavy rain or while Washing the car.
Apparently no longer available from Germany. Can anyone help?
I live in East Anglia in England. Are there any breaker’s yards specific to BMWs? Or would anyone have stock of these? Anywhere?
I have diagram reference of the part.
Thanks

Welcome.
When you say "...rubber weather shield upright strip on the drivers side window..."
Do you mean the front door glass to rear quarterglass seal in Real OEM as Gasket Left & Right (part #12 in this diagram)
Or are you talking about the front vertical seal?
