Has anyone any restoration photos (or details) of removing the alarm 'stuff' from the driver's door so the door can be resprayed and the 'base' #65751368912 replaced with new. Removing the trims, windows, door locks etc are detailed in the archive here, but the creamy coloured plastic magnetic lock inside the door has a secret not detailed. It has always worked, I don't want to rugger it up.

Found it....got it......done it! The cream coloured plastic housing rocks a little bit, and after removing the rubber collar/grommet from the outside the plastic piece rocks a little more. On the side away from the cut-out in the door, a bit hidden , there 's a piece of wire like a paperclip sticking out. Slide the paperclip sideways the wire comes away like a neat 'circlip' and the inner and outer separate. Neat, really neat.
