Hello gentlemen,

I've been thinking about lowering my e30 for a while (i think it looks odd right now). I think mine has already been lowered in the past, yet they left the standard springs in the back.
my current ride height: (axle centre to fender)
F:345mm
R:380mm
approx
I have a euro e30 type-1 318i 1985

All the aftermarket sellers market their springs with the amount of mm it will drop, and since mine is not standard i can't approximate what i want.

now i've been searching for a while, but i cant seem to validate the factory ride height...
Could anyone tell me ?
Maybe we should add this to the suspension topic in the WIKI ?

If you look in Bentley it gives models. springs as well as spring pads and ride
heights for all models, also where to measure. It is of course American but I
think there's no difference in these settings between Europe and US
