anyone got a compression tester around Hampshire?

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

As above, planning to get things compression tested before I rip off the head and expect to find a blown head gasket.

Currently experiencing a slight misfire on startup for a few seconds, milky underside of the cap and solid coolant hoses on an m40 318i

If anyone has a compression tester and fancies some beer in payment, I'm in Winchester :)

it does sometimes, when it's idling it sometimes goes cold, but if you keep the rpm around 1.5k, it warms up quickly, almost as if it's not circulating that well at low rpm?

sounds like the waterpump is failing and it has enough for the headgasket to have shit itself
But im no Mechanic just an unlucky soul who has experienced such things
