Hi,
Today I activated the alarm on the car and the turn signals blinked with no sound from the siren. When I deactivate the alarm the turn signals blink and car doors unlock. Car starts fine, but there is a faint siren beep while driving.
Not sure what's gone wrong???
Any advise will be much appreciated.
Thanks

Does this model have a built in battery? The OEM E30 alarm does this when the battery in the siren box goes faulty.

What Brian said, the Alarm siren probably has a built in battery that was charged slightly when you connected it, either wrap it in a rag and wait for it to go flat again or if by faint chance there is a key switch in the siren and you still have one for it, switch it off

Thanks guys,
Think I will wait for it to go flat, doesn't seem to have a key switch around the siren. Can the siren's internal battery be replaced or is it time for a new alarm.
I have been recommended the Clifford 650 with proximity sensor for £356 installed. Are there any recommendations for the BMW E30 325i in that price range.

Absolutely fine, as long as you realise that, in spite of the manufacturers claims, the immobiliser can be defeated in seconds by anyone who knows what they're doing.E30M3EVO wrote: I have been recommended the Clifford 650 with proximity sensor for £356 installed. I'm not familiar with your existing alarm, but as long as the original battery hasn't leaked corrosive juices into the works, there's no reason why a replacement battery can't be soldered in.

Doubt if the alarm model will help. Details of what's written on the battery and a pic. will.
