Just ran out of fuel 3km short of the German border... fortunately on the slip lane into the petrol station, so it was only a 100m push!
Fuel gauge still showed 20 litres left, and I could only get 40 litres into the tank no matter how slowly I pumped, and the gauge now reads full.
There's no dent in the tank and it's definitely a 63litre job since I fitted it myself. So i'm guessing there's a problem with the internal siphon system. Can anyone shed any light on this?
I was getting 32mpg, believe it or not!

Nope, it's definitely the right tank and gauge. The gaugle says 60l, and since I fitted the tank myself I know it's the larger unit.
I'm thinking that one of the syphon pipes is blocked or crimped somehow, so there's 20l trapped on one side that I cant pump out.
