Nothing to do with the cost Malcolm, more to do with the fact that I wanted the car back on the road Asap.
Ordered 2 of the little feckers from the dealers, only to discover that they had supplied connectors for a LHD model, despite being given the correct part No.
Anyway.... got master and slave installed today, just finished, but seems I have another problem.
Haynes says there should be 10 inches between the firewall and the front of the pedal, clutch, I only
have 9inches, stop giggling Malcolm, and nothing on the Master cylinder to adjust the distance.
As for the eccentric nut on the pedal, forget it, there's about 1 mil adjustment if any.
What could possibly go wrong with only nine inches?

I'll get my actress friend to ask the bishop.....gooner1 wrote: What could possibly go wrong with only nine inches?
Cannot think why Haynes specify a distance for pedal travel, nothing in Bentley....
The important bit is that the clutch should open and not 'bite' either too low or too high, and the adjustment on the pedal eccentric should help there.
