I used the key to get into my car, and the driver side door just barely opened the passenger and the boot will not open. When I tried to lock the doot again the lock would not go down using the key.

I'm starting to panic now.....

Finally I pushed down the lock on the inside and slammed the door.

Why is it playing up????

Please help fellow zoners

There are two red/black wires behind the drivers footwell speaker that go to two seperate pins in the socket for the door wiring loom in the door pillar.
Cut them both off from the socket and solder them together, insulating the join with heatshrink tubing.
There's a search button at the top of the page that allows you to search for previous threads on the subject. If you type in "red/black wire" or "central locking" and my username then you should find further details.
