BMW 325i turbo megasquirt hunting rough idle ?

Any idea why my e30 would be hunting or have a rough idle ? Have had engine rebuilt etc all hoses and pipes are back on just doesn't want to tick over ? [/code]

if you don't mind me asking, where did you get your MS installed? I have the unit with maps on it for my car but just don't have a clue how to install it?

Not got a idle control valve on it anymore. The megasquirt was installed before I got the car but I've rebuilt everything just using wiring . Il look at the links cheers

they never do run right with out one when cold they need very fine tuning to get them right on cold start once there warm it's not to bad

mine won't idle from start up I have to hold the throttle for a little while until it will idle
I've not got a icv either

Is does get better once it's warmed up but know I think turbo I brought had a damaged seal as it pissing out smoke grrrrr

oh not good is it ms1 or 2? ms2 has idle advance timing that can be used keep the idle a bit more stable by adding or removing ignition timing it works pretty well my bike is using this with throttle bodys and it works quite well
