I had the alarm taken out of my car about 6 months ago. Since then she's been wrapped up in the garage. The central locking has now ceased to function which isn't a massive issue to me. However the flaming passenger door is now stuck shut. Even using the key in the door doesn't work to unlock it. How do I go about getting the git open?

You could try unlocking with the key while gently lifting the handle at the same time.

Perhaps the microswitch is dead or goosed, it may have been pulled loose when the alarm was fiddled with. My drivers door wouldnt lock or unlock and I recently changed the microswitch and it works again

There is another system, but I'd wait for confirmation from Brian before trying it.

You need to take the kick panel off around the speaker in the driver's footwell, remove the speaker, and fish out the central locking relay. Disconnect the relay, and on the wiring plug find the lock/unlock wires. The aim is to give a quick 12V jolt to the actuators in the flow OPPOSITE to what they're used to - that's how you de-deadlock them.

I AM NOT supporting this method. I've done it on mine but I don't want to risk deadlocking all the acutators on your car, which is why I'm not going to mention the wire colours.
