AFM Co Setting?

Hi guys got a new (second hand) AFM and fitted it to my 1986 325i (Older high comp engine) engine doesnt seem to pull as strong since i fitted it and want to check that the co screw is set right, can anyone tell me how many turns out they should be roughly?

I.e if you wound it all the way in and then turned it out to the right point how many full turns would you need?

I don't think it's that simple.
The only accurate way to set the CO is using a gas analyser - like they use for the MOT

If you've touched that screw, you're screwed, and the only way to get it set right is to take it somewhere with an exhaust gas analyser.

Rule #1 of E30 ownership, DON'T TOUCH THE AFM SCREW.

arrrrgggghh might just fit my old one back on then, if you do manage to get it on a gas bench what should the figure be?
