In effect,these are all of the brake pipes on the car!

Unlikely that you will be able to seperate the flexi's from the knackered pipe,so an ideal oppotunity to re-build with braided stainless steel flexi's.

You will need,toolwise;
11mm brake pipe spanner
14mm socket/14mm spanner
Stanley knife
Pipe flaring kit

Just how you go about the job will depend to some extent on how much of an OEM homo you are!
All the pipework is available from BMW,but you will need to bend it to shape....

If it was me faced with this,I would buy a roll of kunifer and a handfull of fittings and get stuck in.My first attempt at replacing brake pipes was with an E30 about 5 years ago,the bit that I still find difficult is flaring the manufacturers fitted steel pipe to join in kunifer,so if you can replace complete lengths then the job will be a little easier.

Remember that you will be working underneath the car,so you must have suitable and safe lifting and supporting gear.
Youth is wasted on the young.

I've just had my mid & rear brake pipes (plus some flexi pipes) replaced for the MOT. It was done by an independent mechanic, and he hasn't sent me the bill yet, but i'll let you know...
