. . . is it easy to do? Pretty sure the reason i have no clutch is a leaking slave cylinder, (pool of fluid under car, biting point moved when you pressed the clutch down for anything more than 5 seconds before it went completely). I have one removed from a pre-facelift 320i, only a few months old - will it fit my 1989 325i?

Two 13mm nuts,I think.
Top one can be playfull to get at,try to slack off the hose before you remove the cylinder.Flexi is horribly expensive via BMW,but some-one put up a link to an Ebay s/s one the other day,a far more reasonable £22ish.
Most suggest that the master cylinder is swapped at the same time.

S/s hose is something I must get, any idea who posted it up Malc? I'll get searching for it.
