Had the 318i checked over by a BMW garage - amongst other items they indicated I need a timing belt and "both drive belts" changed...what are they referring to re drive belts?

Also, when changing these what other items would you recommend I change whilst doing the belts? ('92 with approx, 80k miles done.)

Drive belts are the water pump/fan/alternator one and the power steering one.
Both idlers should be changes along with the timing belt, and the water pump is a good idea 'while you're in there'.

Thanks Brian.

Re idlers - assuming this is the correct page http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E30/C ... ooth_belt/ are the idlers you refer to items 12 and 15?
