being new to bmw i was wondering if there was usch a thing as a wide track conversion useing parts from the rest of the range.
being from the vw world the commen trick with golfs is to use a corrado rear beam and passat front wishbones which gives you about 25mm each side.
reason for asking is i have my eye on a berg cup style set of arches for my 2 door e30 but dont want to run 10" wide rims on it.
on the m3 is it just the offset on the rims that fills the arches out or is the suspension that differant?

E36/z3 6cly rear arms (want to buy a set) the stock hubs fit and will give a bit extra each side about 30mm ish.

Front it is possible to use some e46 whish bones but it will need offset top mount and possibly redrilling the shock towers to get the castor back to norm

so if i used some adjustable top mounts there should be enough to get the goemetry back in spec? or would i need to make some top mounts?
i'll keep a eye out for some rear arms a bit more local to silverstone.
cheers for help :D

think i'll leave the fronts as is [poss some spacers] and just do the rear end
now just to find rims, cant decide on 15 or 17 inch rims.

Mate of mine has E46 wishbones on his V8 drifter, it adds a hell of a lot of camber...
