I bought a genuine fire extinguisher mounting from Theo :D question is I can't see how the metal base is mounted on to the seat. The mounting holes line up OK but I can't see how the bolt goes throught the seat frame??

If anyone has retrofitted this, any help would be appreciated

Thanks

As far as I know it's a pair of M10 (8?) bolts. If the holes line up correctly it should all be straight forward enough. I didn't have any suitable bolts to hand when I did mine but a couple of fat cable-ties are doing the job nicely for now :)

Do the bolts have nuts as well, because I fitted the bolts could not see how the nuts would fit as there is no access to the bolts from behind, or are nuts not necessary...??

Also I cannot see how the rounded arms of the base fit to the seat, (they have bolt head scratches on them so obviously they somehow fit to the sides of the seat

thanks

No nuts involved, just bolt through! The curved parts should also line up with a couple of holes on the underside of the seat base. A couple of self tappers will do the trick here too.
