not too hard at all. Label the wires, keep the screws grouped in separate pots and work methodically. A whole day at most, with time for breaks and tears!

Quite agree with tourerDan - swopped my dash over for an Ebay special cos it had sun cracks.
Allow a day at most, and I would advise that if you have any wet carpet problems (don't a lot of us??) sort this out at same time - dash removal lets you get the carpets out complete (if you need to dry them out) and also to check carefully for evidence of leaks from bulkhead/behind dash. The metal attachment points on the sides of the dash were rusty, water was getting in somehow in the screen pillar and running down the sides to the footwell.

yeah not too bad to do, getting the fcuker back in is the worst bit great site here: http://www.strictlyeta.net/technical/dashboard.html
best advice i can give is take the dash out of a scrap car yourself, you will learn what gets broken etc, and big tip put duct tape around your steering wheel consul and A pillars, they will get scratched to hell otherwise!!!
and i can confirm that a cab dash is different from a tin top dash, but it WILL fit!!
