i'm pretty sure this fell off my car today. i heard a rattling and pulled over and found this a few feet away, and the rattling had stopped.

i thought it was my horn, but that still works

was hoping that someone could identify it, so i can get it replaced and judge if the car is still safe to drive

thanks

bizarrely my horn still works, thats why i thought it had to be something else..... would the after market alarm have bypassed the horn when fitted, to use its own?

Agreed.

Not really needed,so you can save weight by binning it!

It should work with the alarm funtion of your OBC,there should be a pair of wires dangling behind the n/s foglight.

you also have a horn on each side on the e30, so one could be down with no ill effect.

Oh right coz my cabby had one of these but doesn't have an obc. It had one of these in addition to the two horns. Cabby alarm maybe?
