m50 throtel body on a m20 manifold

can anyone tell me if a m5o throtel body would fit onto a e30 325i m20 manifold ? need a tps and the e30 manifold is only a on off swich not a progressive slider because i instaled after market engen managment and map sensor not working to gr8 cuzing misfires and surging

The throttle body switch from an E30 with the switchable auto gearbox comprises the normal switch and a three terminal potentiometer.

so a e30's tps sensor that has a outo gearbox would work as a progresive sensor? I tried useing the one i have and press the acselerator down but i get no reading only at full throtel do i get a 100 persent open reading. But as soon as i close it just a milimeter it shows a 0 persent reading. I thought polarity might be wrong so i swiched the wires and it does the same. I want to try and replace the map sensor with the tps because i get uneven response from the map sensor and misfires aswel as a huge blind spot on throtel travel. So if i can replace the map sensor with a tps im hoping it wil solve my problem. I had it to agents and they cant sort it out so im experimenting with other methods of sencing the load of the moter.

The M20 engine management uses a double switch as the TPS - an idle switch that switches just off of closed throttle, and a WOT switch that switches between a half and two thirds throttle.
The TPS assembly on a switchable auto E30 still has this switch for the engine ECU, but has a potentiometer for the gearbox ECU built into it as well. This potentiometer can be used as a conventional throttle position sensor with aftermarket ECU's.
