another crappy m20 lumpy idle and exhaust question

hi there im new to this so bare with me

right i have a 1989 320i convertible
firstly the tick over ever since i brought the damb thing it has never really ricked over properly and smooth just thought it was coz it sat around for a bit but no

i have changed the plugs filter checked for air leaks new exhaust gasket , have just brought a new crank sensor and blue plug switch for temp ,is running really rich it stink but is quick when going kick down is defo working

also i am looking for an exhaust for it i have renewed the rear half but having trouble in finding the downpipe and box combo with 1 figure of 8 fitting think seem to be like hens teeth
