is there any advantage in fitting a short shifter if so is it worth doing.

Need the shifter, new plastic cup bush, a clip and new washers.

Reduces the 'throw' of the gearstick in both directions,well worth doing.
Do replace all the moving parts of the linkage,though,to get the full benifit.
