Hi, anyone have any idea why the indicators would suddenly stop working on my 325 auto cab, was driving it this morning and all was fine. parked it up at the shops for 5 mins and now they dont work at all :cry: , not a fuse as i have checked them....im starting to panic as i have the MOT booked for 12:00 tommorow

There is a rely under the plastic that surrounds the steering wheel.

Can you here it clicking when indicators on?

no clicking at all, are they the same on all E30's as i have two others i could borrow the parts from

Indicators go through the hazard switch - if that's been knocked, or you've fiddled around with stereo wiring, you could have disconnected somethere there too. Do your hazards work?

Cheers Grrrmachine, your a ledgend, turns out whoever fitted the stereo managed to slightly cut throungh one of the wires on the hazard switch, rewired it and all is now working again..cheers buddy

This happened to me at the weekend when fitting a new cage for the stereo.

this was a nightmare, after taking the stereo out i found a tun of cables behind there that the previous owner just shuved out of the way or cut which damaged a few of them.....on the positive side my OBC now works as the cable for that was also cut....(i was told the bulbs had gone so was going to replace them) just goes to show what a bit of rummaging can do....

enjoy the touring mate, just bought a 318 which i was going to sell but have decided to keep it as a run around whilst i sort the cab out....
