Anyone done this?
I know you need a remap, but other than that is it relatively straight-forward?
Which one is the one to use on an M20? 325i? 328i? Which air filter do you use?
On the face of it it looks to be a cheaper alternative to the custom made Miller one. Am I right?
TIA
Stuart.

MAF bore size is the deciding factor.
M52B28 is the optimum size to give a good 0-5V resolution come remap time, M50 vanos would be good too. ITG JC60-67 fits on without issue
you will need a signal converter, or WAR or Uni Q to get it running right
you'll also need an intake temp sensor in the loop somewhere, std bosch NTC for that, again you may have to program the voltage vs actual temp yourself to get it spot on for the intake correction to be effective.
you could ditch the MAF idea and use MAP or indeed use a switchable auto TPS and use the variable 0-5k ohm pot in that for load data, true Alpha N, although that is the most time consuming to Map as you'll have to do every site.

Read the thread. The author of that thread on Bimmerforums himself is the one to use the phrase:StuBeeDoo wrote:Your point is????kabeer wrote:yes..when IQ counts below 90.town325i wrote:that looks a right mess

I suspect kabeer was having a little fun.
Yes, Alpineade..i was just pulling Stubee.. (off-topic)
And i do agree that HAKENTT doing a good job and posted an excellent thread and i'm following it.
(look at the response : Applause for the OP!)
same time he's bit disappointed that he's left alone and saying (i feel sorry for the guy) :
( As of now I am alone in this, no one wants to share information everybody is thinking about profit. I will need your help if you want me to write the tuning software....
Vendors are promoting their products here making money on people but I can't even share my findings here for free?
I don't understand it, forum is all about sharing information)
Anyhow, it will be a mess if you're not into wiring & soldering, @d same time not Rocket science..when you have masters around you, it's easy to paly & learn. Where as my resource is zoners and my two hands.
i myself started to learn about mapping from Ant's and Paul's threads.
cheers...
