i have a very damp drivers foot well and it keeps misting up the glass , whats the usual suspects ?
windscreen rubber looks good i was wondering if there was a sun roof drain or somat going that way

have you lifted the carpet to check for rust, checked the firewall?

otherwise maybe the heater matrix?

i havent lifted carpet yet ive only just noticed it is damp,im not losing any engine water so i dont think its matrix,floor looks good underneath

more possibly the part under the scuttle panel, under the fusebox area. Have a look up with a torch

Check the little drainage tube, aka 'elephant trunk', it gets blocked over time with old leaves & other random debris. Comes off easily, then give it a thorough clean. I had very same issue when I first got the car.
It is on the firewall, opposites side to the steering wheel (rhd).
Easy enough to find & check. :)

I am having similar issues on my e30...

Would appreciate should you are able to provide a picture of the "elephant trunk" for me to clean and hopefully solve the drivers side carpet damp.
