I need to remove the center panel that encloses the gearshift, houses the window switches and ashtray, etc. to hide a wire but I can't figure out what I need to remove in order to get that panel off. Any suggestions or does anyone have a DIY? Thank you!

If it is a manual the gear boot should just lift out with a little persuasion. You should be able to the run wires from there. To remove entire console, you need to take out back section first (fixed under rear ashtray) then remove screws / nut from (a) in storage space in front of shifter, (b) rear of front console, under shifter boot (c) upwards facing screws above storage space (screw into main dash) and (d) there is a half turn locking plastic screw at the front of the console near your feet. I think this is everything. Sure someone will add anything I've missed. It is pretty simple but the screws facing upwards can be a cow to get back in.
