Hi
I've tried searching for a thread which give instructions on how to install a fuel pump cut off switch but can't find anything.

Can anybody help?

Thanks

Fuel pump is fed by a green/purple wire that enters the car via the duct under the fusebox and behind the glovebox, guess all you need to do is put a switch in the wire....the wire runs down the n/s cill behind the carpet.

Not put a switch in the wire - that's far too easily bypassed.
Connect a switch between a wire teed into the pump wire and earth.
If an attempt to start the car is made while the switch is on, fuse 11 will blow. If the prospective thief realises that lack of fuel pump is the problem, and tries to power it with a lead to the plug under the back seat, the short will still be present, unless he cuts the original feed wire, or, if he searches for, and finds the switch, fuse 11 will still be blown.

Thanks guys, are there any guides with pictures that may help with this procedure?

Thanks

This is interesting, was going to look into something like this for when I get the car on the road.
