Hi All, New to the zone and loving it, just got myself a project, a brilliant redish :? 325 cab. Needs a lot of TLC.
The main roof motor is broken at the pivot point is there a repair/replacement part for this? if so where can i get a hold of it? also i have removed the main motor and now the horseshow motor does not work, do they both need to be attached as i cant lock the horseshoe down.

Many thanks

Spike.

The e30 centre at Darlaston in the west midlands produce a new top half motor shell in cast steel rather than monkey metal , for about £100 and will fit it for you if you ask nicely..
e30 centre...
the no is 07871 662 902 jason

The horseshoe motor should work if the roof motor is disengaged ...mine did,, but I do not know where the fuse is ....but have you taken it out? you might have disturbed something?

best of luck

Sorry for slight hi-jack of this thread, but what oil/grease would you recommend for servicing the cab roof?

If you are having a new roof fitted get the motor part as the fitters will know how to sync it
