hi everyone,i know somebody who has a 2.65 medium case lsd diff for sale,is it any good?

Are you sure its a 2.65 and not a 3.65?

it is 2.65 ratio lsd removed from LHD e34 5 series diesel,by asking is it any good i meant would it be useful because of the ratio

If it really is 2.65, then the only way you could use it on an E30 would be with an engine delivering at least 250bhp, and with a direct fifth gearbox. Would give nice relaxed cruising.

Would be a nice diff for a M30 or something like that with a gearbox to suit winkeye

I've come across a 325E's with 2.78 and 2.93 LSD's in the past.

It's fitted into normal 325i at the moment 3rd gear 80mph ~2500 revs,5th gear is a no use

Blimeyyy whats the most you've got out of it in third gear?
