M tech 2 on convertible HELP Please

I have front (two piece) and rear m tech 2 genuine bumpers, Some guy at a BMW specialist said there gonna be a nightmare to fit. I bought the front bumper mounts already (the big shock type ones with the huge allen bolt) and was gonna buy the same types for the rear but the guy says it doesn't work like that.
Has anyone been through this wiv there cab? Or can point me in the right direction? I need Help

Mtech 2 kit is only really designed for the face lift model (92-93 on the cabs) front should be realitivly easy to fit, but the rear is a different story as the rear arches are different on pre and post face lift (see my picture below for facelift cab, note the rear lights)
that is not to say it cannot be fitted, quite a few on this zone have fitted tech2 on preface lift cars (also known as metal bumper models). you will need to make some modifications to the fixing brackets and to the area around the rear wheel arch. try search section for keyword tech2.

Ye, not so much worried about the rear now. had some good advice off carl and scott...........Thanks boyz!!
As far as the front goes anyone got any suggestions for the front fogs coz since i'm putting m tech 2 front on, I'll be changing the fogs from the old rectangular type to the new ones.
