Nine that I can think of, off hand. Like to narrow it down a bit more?

All i can see on it without stripping it down is oil running from the pulley area of the head down the front of the engine, there is no evidence of oil comming out above the pulley. i took the rocker cover off aswell to check and there was no evidence of it leaking from that or near the 2 small seals on the end of the rockers. thanks for ya help.

Not the 2 small seals on the ends of the rockers or rocker cover you say, so...
Might be:
Cam shaft oil seal
Front offside corner of headgasket - very common and not a worry
Just clean it, drive it, and look again.

i did have a suspision it might be that, it doesn't loose a lot of oil it just looks worying because the fan blows it around. i am starting to get worried about it because i'm gonna be taking it long distance and don't fancy it pumping all the oil out 100 miles down the road and ceasing up. Is it a tricky job to change the cam seal and belt?
Thanks very much

Not hard.
You can just pull the belt off, carefully mark the position, and put it back after doing the cam seal (if thats the problem).
In reality though you would want to do the belt and tensioner at the same time.
Im sure a topic on here somewhere covers it!
