Got a problem with my 320 se g reg

Basically its cutting out an juddering violently when you put your foot down on the accelrater pedal ive cleaned the tb with carb cleaner but nothings changed.

It only started occuring yesterday an has gradually got worse im really lost as i know no bmw specialist near me if you can help it would be much appretiated.

Sounds like your distributor cap has a big crack in it. Take the bugger off and have a good look at it.

UPDATE.. I called the AA out an he said the coil was'nt sparking so he got a red wire from the coil with a connecter an a seperate red wire from the battery an has a fuse an basically once you connect them the cars fine obviously i have to undo them when i park up an go through opening the bonnet an connecting them but its only a temp fix until i find the problem.

cant have been your coil; was the car idling ok?

it wouldnt even want to start if the coil was a goner!
