open bonnet, feel up in front of the grille to the back of the badge. there should be 2 plastic prongs. press them with a flat blade screwdriver and the badge should push out.

take new badge, line up pins, press into place.

there are no clips or adhesives, just the friction fit of the 2 pins in their holes. don't attack it from the top, you'll only end up scratching the paint
cheers,

harry

Don't bet on that! BMW didn't fit any, but it's been twenty years since.

I remember back in the late '80's it seemed fashionable to steal the badges - it was when all the VW badges were being nicked - so BMW owners used superglue on the roundel prongs. Instead of coming back to a car simply devoid of its roundel, there was also substantial damage to the surrounding paintwork.

The trend became so prolific, I did without the roundels for a few months and oiled the prongs upon reinstating the celebrated items.

Are all the bonnet badges the same? I just received mine and it's bloody plastic!!!!!!! NOT impressed with this seller on eBay! He has advertised as badge will fit any BMW model.

German and Swedish or euorparts OE badges are only about £10/15 each and fit perfect and wont lift in two halves when the pressure wahshers on them either.
