Has two slats for air flow intake.

The bottom has the usual plastic blanking plate which you can swap for the oil cooler grill.

And the top one should be left open?

AFAIK there is nothing for the top one.

Nothing on Real OEM.

And all the air con cars I have seen having nothing there.

Cool.

Kinda weird that they have panels or grills to keep major muck / stones out
but the top one is left wide open.
