Yer i am sorry for my bad spelling. i am dislexic and find it just as hard to read your posts as you do mine.

I think you should read his post again mate. He's asking if all the e30s that were white, were the alpine white 2 shade. In fairness, it did take a little time to read exactly what he meant but nowhere near as long as it took me to figure out what the hell you were trying to say.JR318i wrote:i had a black g plate my friends got a red g plate one all through the one i have now is white all so g plate ?? it was probably just a popular color in 1990 lol
Colour is spelt with a 'u', although is is one word, one 'l' and no 'r'. Also is also one word and one 'l'.
If you're gonna give somebody else some stick mate, you might wanna actually read their post first.
*rant over :p

Take your Vin to your local delear then, their computer can tell you the exact shade. Though if you intend to touch up the paint you may well get different shades on the car due to the aging of the colour on the car.LeonNewton wrote:i understand that cars can be resprayed but i know mine has not. it was painted in 1989 by bmw and i wonted to know witch shade of alpine white they used??

Hi Leon, your car should be alpinawhite 2.A bright, fresh snow white. The alpinawhite 1 is a yellow white by comparison.I understand the colour changed at the same time as the bumpers.

not as yet. i need to do sum spots of rust on the rear arches and were someone i think has shut something in the door. hence needing paint then i can do the whole car. the car is no stunner anyway so a shade change in paint is not the bigest of problems but it would be nice. i see this cars life ending on the arco of sum track.

my g reg is is also alpine 2, and yes i think it changed with the facelift. My mate who sprayed the front wing said that it had faded a lot though, and the rest of the car is now somewhere between alpine 1 & 2, according to his charts....lovely !
