Hi,
My gauges are doing funny things. The temp gauge works 99% of the time, but every so often (maybe once every day or two) it will drop to 0 for a fraction of a second, then jump back to where it was.
The fuel swingometer is also playing up. It sits on the stop on a trailing throttle, or when you're driving gently.....if you put your foot down it drops to about 10mpg. It's like it's working normally, but it's got a 40mpg margin of error.
It's been like this since I had the service lights re-set. It was done by another zoner, but I'm not sure how he did it.
I'm guessing there's a dodgy connection or something?
Cheers.
'Flicking' temp gauge and broken fuel swingometer...

Nope, nothing to do with the ECU.bmania wrote:it could be your ecu coming to end of life
7mm nut on the back of the cluster probably needs tightening.I'm guessing there's a dodgy connection or something?
Also, dying SI board batteries (on VDO clusters) cause a lot of faults with the tacho and mpg meter.
