Hi,

My gauges are doing funny things. The temp gauge works 99% of the time, but every so often (maybe once every day or two) it will drop to 0 for a fraction of a second, then jump back to where it was.

The fuel swingometer is also playing up. It sits on the stop on a trailing throttle, or when you're driving gently.....if you put your foot down it drops to about 10mpg. It's like it's working normally, but it's got a 40mpg margin of error.

It's been like this since I had the service lights re-set. It was done by another zoner, but I'm not sure how he did it.

I'm guessing there's a dodgy connection or something?

Cheers.

Nope, nothing to do with the ECU.

7mm nut on the back of the cluster probably needs tightening.

Also, dying SI board batteries (on VDO clusters) cause a lot of faults with the tacho and mpg meter.
